Thirteen years ago today
We gave our vows to each other.
To love and to cherish, together;
A commitment before God and others.
Isn’t marriage such a wonderful thing?
So many mysteries yet to come;
Surprises day by day, they bring;
Making life more interesting!
Hand in hand we face the future together;
Trusting the Lord for what is yonder.
For we know we could never make a step further
If our eyes and hearts are, to Him, not surrendered.
The Lord keeps us bound to each other,
As we have committed years ago, remember,
Singing joyful songs and sharing solemn vows.
We will keep our promise forever.
