LP41: Asul (Blue)

Hayyy!

Hayyy! I love looking at the sky/heavens when it has this color. It is so relaxing. I feel so light inside. It's so bright all around. Especially after a period of darkness due to the winter season. I fill my eyes with it --- I never get tired of looking at it. Soon it will be dark again but I have this photo to remind me until the blue sky/heavens appear again.

Litratong Pinoy: Snow

How excited are you to see, hold or taste snow? We call it "yelo" in the Philippines. I do not know for sure whether there is a specific word for snow there. All of us who are in the tropics dream that someday we can experience winter with snow in other countries. When I was in Scotland, I was able to experience this. I was so excited that time to touch or taste (pretending only) the snow which was so white similar to Perla soap suds. That's why we used to use this in our christmas trees to simulate a snowy scene. So there...I really went out and posed infront of the camera just to have a picture with the snow. Sometimes we feel and think that having snow is romantic. But then when we think of the difficulty of cleaning up the snow around us so we can walk safely, to avoid falling or slipping, it is not romantic anymore! It was good that time in March that it took only a week before it melted.

It's good that Litratong Pinoy chose this theme "excited" during this time. Christmas and the New Year holidays are approaching and there are so many things we can be excited about.
