Christmas greetings!

And it came to pass ... the time has come ... the most awaited time ... now is the time ...

So it is Christmas eve. The 24th! Just a quiet day here, unlike in the Philippines when I am sure that there are so many things going on. In homes, people are busy cooking and preparing for the noche buena and family parties. In shops, people are busy buying last minute items to give as gifts. Elsewhere, people are busy wrapping gifts, chatting with family and friends who are visiting, running around with errands left and right. Whether busy or not, let us not forget the reason for having a Christmas celebration.

Sharing a paragraph about Christmas and the reason for the season and all the celebration. I think this is very appropriate and true ... Read on:

Greatest man in history named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was ...buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.

I believe Jesus is the reason for the season.

Wishing you all a meaningful Christmas celebration, that His peace which the world can not give will be yours today and in the new year. May Christmas be felt in your hearts especially thanking Jesus for coming to save us and give us peace and joy so we can face another year with faith and courage.
